Usually on Friday/Saturday evening and mostly around full moon. We alert members through email a few days in advance when meteo prediction is favourable.

When the meteo conditions do not allow observation, we teach technical things to beginners.

Observation sites

1) CERN (Prevessin): imagery (CCD, DLSR, ...) of deepsky or solar and planetary observation. The site is Bortle 6-7 (suburban)

2) Sometimes around Lajoux (Jura) for astronomical events that are low on the western horizon. This area is also less light polluted.
